Dumbo Eco Camp
Eco wooden houses, camping and motorhome spaces in the heart of Guria
Hidden in the heart of Guria
Dumbo Eco Camp is a small, family-built camp on Gomi Mountain in Guria — three timber cottages above the village, facing the valley that fills with a sea of fog at sunrise.
Everything here moves deliberately slowly: local timber and local hands built the cottages, the sun powers the camp, mornings stretch out over coffee on the terrace, and evenings end around the fire. We built the place we wanted to escape to — and then opened the door.

Frequently asked questions
The camp sits on Gomi Mountain in Guria, western Georgia. The last stretch is a mountain road — rough in places, and after rain or snow you will want a 4x4 or our help.
The easiest option is our minivan transfer from Tbilisi, Kutaisi, or Batumi: we pick you up, and you watch the fog appear below the road as we climb. Exact directions and GPS coordinates are sent with your booking confirmation.
Yes — all three cottages are open 365 days a year. Winter is one of the camp's best-kept secrets: snow on the ridge, the fog sea below, and the wood stove going all day. We keep the access road cleared, and in rough conditions we bring guests up by 4x4.
Breakfast can be arranged for every morning of your stay — local, simple, and generous. In the evenings, book the Campfire Supra Dinner: a full Georgian feast around the fire.
Every cottage also has its own equipped kitchen or kitchenette, so you can cook for yourself; the nearest market is down in the village.
Very. Children love it here — the meadow, the campfire, the animals on the neighbouring farms. All three cottages welcome families, and Panorama Cottage is the most spacious for a family of six. We only ask that adults keep an eye on little ones near the terrace edges and the campfire.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in all three cottages — just tell us in advance so we can prepare. Around the camp and on the trails, please keep them on a leash: there are pastures and farm animals nearby.
Choose your dates and cottage on this site and send a booking request. To confirm the booking we take a 30% deposit through secure online payment (Bank of Georgia); the balance is paid on arrival.
If your plans change, contact us — we are flexible whenever we can be.
